Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI) is an independet organization that specialize in managing and supervising the wakaf in Indonesia. On Thursday 16th March 2023 BWI audienced to Universitas Sumatera Utara inside Tata Usaha room in Biro Pusat Administration. This meeting is attended by secretary of Internationalization and Global Administration USU, Arief Nuryawan, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D. from BWI side is represented by the member of Pengurus Husoli Waka Indonesia, Dr. Agus Priyanto, M.Pd. and three other member.
BWI came to USU in order to collaborate on the event “Wakaf Goes to Campus 13th series” that will be hel on 15-16 May. Hoping that USU will be host in the event of 16th May on the USU’s auditorium.
The series of events consist of Duta Kampus’s workshop as the first event, later there will be training for campus activists to be given literacy and socialization in the campus area. It is planned that there will be fifteen campuses and each campus will have two representatives. On the second day there will be a national seminar and it will be held at the USU Auditorium. This activity is a hybrid media and will be held at 09.00-12.00. Then there will be a public lecture at UIN North Sumatra at 13.00.
