Foreign lecturers (international faculty) are urgently needed by USU, both to exchange ideas and insights with USU lecturers as well as to realize international research collaborations. However, before bringing in foreign lecturers, it is better to do a needs mapping first so that it is more targeted and in line with the needs of faculties / study programs in USU. This is also useful for realizing the clustering of foreign lecturer competencies that are needed by more than one faculty / study program that has the same needs. Then formulated clear regulations regarding the management of international faculty at USU. After obtaining comprehensive data regarding the needs of foreign lecturers as well as data collection of their interests and with the support of clear regulations, it will be easier to invite overseas lecturers to be directly involved as researchers and teachers at USU.
