Biro Penelitian, Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dan Kerja Sama (BPPKMK) of Universitas Sumatera Utara held an outreach regarding USU's Opportunities in the Developing Countries Partnership Scholarship Program (KNB) on Monday (20/2). In this socialization which was carried out online, presenting Putri Nailatul Himmah, Young Expert Policy Analyst and Sub-Coordinator for Region IV Substance Management and Strengthening of the Institutional Directorate, as a resource person.
The KNB Scholarship is a component of the implementation of the Higher Education Institutional Quality Strengthening Program in the form of providing tuition assistance for foreign students from developing countries to study at the Bachelor (S1), Masters (S2), and Doctoral (S3) levels in universities in Indonesia.
This socialization intended to examine the feasibility of the University of North Sumatra in terms of its participation in this KNB Program.
"For Universitas Sumatera Utara itself, it has met most of the Higher Education criteria for this KNB program, based on accreditation and cooperation with Higher Education, it has also fulfilled it," said Putri in her explanation.
The socialization was moderated by Arif Nuryawan S.Hut, M.Sc., Ph.D and attended by the Deputy Chancellor III of the University of North Sumatra, Prof. Dr. apt. Poppy A.Z. Hasibuan, M.Si and Director of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita ST., MT. (ss)
